CLEANING

The very first step is removing rough dirt and impurities. A dry cleaning block is perfect for that. Dirt sticks to the block and rolls right off the shoe. Never wet clean! Your shoes must stay absolutely dry. If there are stains on your shoes, you can apply more pressure. The rubber removes even stubborn stains.

LEATHER CONDITIONERS

Conditioners help leather keep its elasticity, softness and look. This applies to both leather and synthetic materials used to make shoes. All materials dry out over time, causing leather to lose its elasticity and natural shine, and resulting in cracks and wrinkles.

You can prevent this by using conditioners such as Collonil Vario. If you prefer natural conditioning products, we recommend Collonil Organic Protect and Care.

WATERPROOFING

Waterproofing protects your shoes from dirt, dust and moisture. Waterproofing does not only stay on the surface, but it also penetrates the material. This results in the ‘lotus effect’ where water droplets run down the material without stopping, not giving dust and dirt an opportunity to stay on the surface!
