Trekker High Bordeaux

Boty mi sedí, jsou krásné, ale zatím nevyzkoušené. Předpokládám, že se v nich bude chodit stejně dobře jako v jiných botách této značky, které mám už dvoje

tyto boty byly moje první od značky realfoot a vlastně i první barefoot vůbec - tehdy to byla jednoduše trefa do černého. První pár mám doteď i když v jiné barvě a jsou to zatím ty nejpohodlnější boty, jaké jsem měla - prsty mají konečně luxusní prostor, což je fakt, který mě k realfoot vrací a doufám, že i vracet bude. Boty jsou velmi lehké a docela překvapivě při vhodné volbě ponožek v nich bylo příjemně i koncem května. Druhý pár jsem chtěla hlavně kvůli mé oblíbené (bordeaux) barvě. Maximálně pohodlné a navíc jsem v nich prochodila i celou zimu bez pocitu chladu.

Overall, there’s are in my opinion by far the best barefoot hiking boots out there with a minor problem of losing their colour when wet (red). I have thoroughly tested the boots on my 750km high alpine track across the Pyrenees since getting them at their release. I’m generally verry happy with them. They are super comfortable and have the perfect shape. With a wide toe box they have enough space in the front while hugging the foot for a great grip at the middle foot and heel. All material and seams are well made. I was super happy to have found these boots after countless hours of searching and trying on barefoot hiking boots from many companies. Most are too narrow, not waterproof, not well made or simply not comfortable. Initially I was a bit worried about the very minimal profile compared to other hiking boots but was positively surprised. Due to the relatively soft rubber and distinct edges of the sole the shoes have good grip on petty much all surfaces. I had no trouble crossing grassy fields, mud, gravelly slopes, wet blank rock and even snow fields. Unfortunately, after a couple of weeks of hiking in a period of consistently bad weather I noticed the shoes losing colour to the point that my socks and bottom of my trousers were dyed red. Even snow I was crossing was discoloured occasionally. I assume this is not that much of an issue for hiking in mostly good weather with occasional rain and the possibility of regularly impregnating the boots. Otherwise, I would not recommend the red boots in the hopes that other colours don’t discolour as easily. Towards the end of the hike the sole started to dethatch slightly (nothing that can’t be fixed) and the sole is somewhat worn but that must be expected from such a long hike on verry rough terrain.

Unfortunately I had to return the boots. I thought I had finaly found trekking boots that would fit my feet. However I found, that the boots are too narrow around the middle of my feet as well as at the heels. This way the boots don't give my feet the flexibility I hoped for. My feet are 11+ cm wide at the joints of my toes (length ca. 26 cm). I know the size guide says size 41 is 10 cm wide at the joints, but I thought I would try them after all. Some other brands I have tried that have a width about 10 cm have a wider circumference which in my case compensates for the lack of width in the soles. For me it would be very good if the boots in general were a little more spacious (the toebox is wide enough) and designed with more flexibility for me to adjust the boots to my feet. An other big plus would be if the boots were made of leather all the way through, so they can be impregnated with natural leather treatment, such as leather grease and thereby become more water resistant and durable.

Super bota pro širokou nožku.

Na barefootky jsem zvyklá několik let, na tůry jsem zatím nosila pohorky klasického typu. Tyto jsem si vzala poprvé na asi 15 km tůru a musela jsem se přezout do jiných bot, protože mi v nic bylo velmi teplo. Tak se mi zdá, jestli nebudou spíš do chladnějších dnů. Uvidím. Prostor pro prsty je výborný. A moc se mi líbí, mám vínové.

These boots do more than just cover your feet. They are so light it is like walking on air. You have to change your mindset a little and go from "eww I can feel all the contours beneath my feet" to realizing "what a privilege it is to connect so beautifully with the earth beneath you". They do something to your brain that allows you to react to the undulations of the earth in real time - that allows you to look up at the scenery much more and not at your feet so much. Oh and they are also beautiful. We are planning a 650kms hike from Emine to Kom next year - these boots will carry me.

Zatím jsem velmi spokojená. Velký prostor pro prsty.

Best boots I've ever owned. Keep doing what you're doing!

Very comfortable and suitably warm for the winter. The bordeaux colour is very nice in-person—not too bright, like I was worried it might be. The toe box is nice and roomy. I probably could have gone up a size, since I'm at a point of feeling very much between-sizes at the moment, but these will do nicely for a while yet. They held up nicely on a cold, muddy hike to break them in.

Zdá se, že mám konečně dobré boty. Zatím jsem s nimi ušla nejvíce 5 km v lesním nerovném terénu, po hrbolaté cestě. mezi kameny, ve vlhku, po asfaltu. Nemají chybu. Zamilovala jsem se do nich, těším se, až si je zase vezmu. Jsou to moje první barefoot. Měkké, lehoučké, příjemné. Určitě si koupím další. Díky za ně.

I love these boots, they're like wearing slippers.ive always struggled to get a toe box that doesn't squish my little toe but not in these bad boys! I'm a 6(39) and would say they are true to size, I expected to get teased for wearing then because of the shape but noone has even commented except my husband when i got them out the box😄 but once on they feel so good I don't care!!

Čekala jsem na slevu a konečně přišla, neváhala jsem a hned jsem zakoupila. Jsem nesmírně spokojená, botičky jsou jak bačkůrky. S korkovou vložkou jsou to spíše barefootky pro začátečníky a mírně pokročilé, což mi vůbec nevadí, protože na štěrku stále ještě trpím. Špička je opravdu velmi široká, možná až moc, v chladnějším počasí jsem využila hrubší zimní vložku, ale na prsty mi skrz volné místo bývá chladněji. Snad to vyřeší prstové ponožky a případně zkusí ještě jinou vložku s ovečkou. :) ale na podzim / jaro jsou výborné, všichni mi je chválí (kromě manžel, pro něj jsou to prý kačení boty :D ).

Very satisfied of these boots! Cute looking, though looking eccentric at first sight since it is unlike anything I've seen before. Hiking in these is great. Heel and anckle held tight while the toes never get squished even when walking down hill. The thin sole allows you to feel the ground and gives the impression of a foot massage as you walk, very nice. Less enjoyable walking on flat concrete for a long time though. Real to the foot that's true, even roomier than other barefoot shoes I've worn. I followed the recommendations for choosing a size and feel I might be one too big. But still not a problem at all to wear. Definitely not my last order and can't wait to try some of their other shoes. Wishing long life to Realfoot
